He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at Touro University in Vallejo, California, completed his residency at The Mount Sinai School of Medicine, and pursued advanced fellowship training in Interventional Spine and Sports Medicine at Mount Sinai in Manhattan. This unique combination of athletic experience and medical expertise enables him to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care for both acute and chronic pain.

Dr. Ben-Meir is dedicated to creating individualized treatment plans that emphasize conservative management whenever possible. His approach ranges from physical therapy, yoga, acupuncture, and medical cannabis to advanced interventional procedures such as ultrasound-guided injections and fluoroscopy-guided spine interventions. He also offers specialized diagnostic services, including musculoskeletal ultrasound and electromyography (EMG/NCS). With a focus on nonsurgical solutions, Dr. Ben-Meir’s goal is to restore function and help patients return to the activities they love.
